Reverend Dr. Marian Barkley-Ellis is an ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church and serves as an Associate Minister and Christian Education Director. She is an educator, advocate, and servant leader whose ministry is dedicated to spiritual formation, discipleship, and transformational leadership through Christian education.

The Women’s Missionary Society at Bethel AME Church was renamed in 2011 after two genuine/sincere missionary-minded women, Sister Margaree B. Elkins and Sister Olivia Williams.

The Youth Ushers Ministry provides young people with an opportunity to serve God and the church through hospitality, leadership, and Christian service. Our Youth Ushers warmly welcome members and visitors, assist with seating and worship needs, and help create an atmosphere that is welcoming and orderly.
