Daughters of Sarah Allen activities include meetings and outings with mentees. Our mentees are girls, grades Kindergarten -12th. Our goal is to enhance the lives of our mentees socially, intellectually, physically, emotionally and spiritually through skill development, empowerment speakers, and other experiences. We plan and implement an annual Lock-in (6pm - 9:30pm) at Bethel and a Mother/Daughter Luncheon the following day at Bethel. The Daughters of Sarah Allen Ministry plans at least two service projects per year. Two of the projects have been donating baby clothes, receiving blankets, etc. to mothers and babies in need of help at one of the local hospitals, and giving socks to residents of a nursing home. We have also donated gift cards, backpacks and school supplies to a local school. We coordinate the Families Reaching Families Christmas Project for Bethel to help community families in need for Christmas. We also have an annual lunch outing for our mentees in February or March each year. In addition, we have had sponsored trips for mentees and members to colleges and universities, and museums in Florida and other states. We also support each other and fellowship together as Christian women.
